Coordination has been initiated with federal, state and local agencies to ensure any proposed improvements are consistent with the many on-going planning and project efforts within and adjacent to the SMRT corridor.
Coordination with the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA), Prince George’s County and Charles County is on-going related to the following:
- MD 5 and MD 373/Brandywine Road Interchange;
- Brandywine Spine Road;
- MD 5 at Moores Road Access Road Evaluation;
- US 301/MD 5 (Mattawoman Beantown Road) Flyover;
- MD 5 Corridor Study; and
- US 301 Interchange Study at MD 228/MD 5 Business.
